How is Aenix DevOps consulting different from Big-4 DevOps consulting?

Big-4 engagements are typically delivered by management consultants and shaped by partner-channel economics, often producing a transformation roadmap rather than working systems. Aenix engineers do the work themselves, calibrated against platforms they actually operate, with no hyperscaler or vendor partnerships influencing recommendations.

Does the engagement cover SRE work as well as DevOps?

Yes. SRE practices such as SLOs, error budgets, incident response, blameless post-mortems, and capacity planning are part of the scope. Aenix does not draw a hard line between DevOps and SRE in its services.

What happens if our team cannot operate what was built?

Three options are available: extend the engagement to grow internal capacity, move to an optional managed-services arrangement, or run a hybrid where Aenix operates critical systems while the internal team owns the rest. The decision is made during the assessment phase.

Will you work with our existing tools or force a rip-and-replace?

Usually Aenix extends what works and replaces only what does not, with named justification in the report. Aenix sells no licensed tooling and does not replace tools simply to sell new ones.
